Dr. Chad Hudnall

Dr Hudnall is a 1997 graduate of Grand Island Northwest High School and a 2001 graduate of Doane College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and was a two year Academic All-American in football and graduated with honors. In 2005, he graduated from Indiana University with a Doctorate in Optometry. Dr. Hudnall is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors as President Elect, and was selected as the Political Action Key Person of the Year in 2011.  He is also on the Board of Directors for the Northwest High School Education Foundation and is a member of the Grand Island Young Professionals. Chad serves on the executive committee of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, and is graduate of Leadership Tomorrow. He was voted one of the “Top 35 under 35” in Grand Island in 2009. Dr. Hudnall has also volunteered for the Heartland United Way and does speaking engagement on vision for various organizations including the diabetic education group at St. Francis Hospital and the Veterans Hospital in Grand Island.

He specializes in the fitting of contact lenses of all types, including those patients with corneal disease that require specialty lenses, glaucoma and ocular disease management, and children’s vision.

Dr. Hudnall and his wife Kara attend Grand Island Evangelical Free Church, and are the proud parents of two beautiful girls, Jenna and Abby, and the family dog Rizley. In his “spare time” Dr. Hudnall enjoys (sometimes) golfing, spending time on the family farm, reading, and of course Cornhusker Football.  Dr. Hudnall can be reached by email at drhudnall@fecvision.com.
