The organization’s Board of Directors elected Hudnall to a one-year term at its annual meeting in Kearney, NE in September.

Dr. Hudnall practices at Family Eyecare Center in Grand Island. He obtained his Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University in 2005. He has served on the NOA Board of Directors since 2009, and is active in the association’s advocacy and consumer relations efforts.

A 1997 graduate of Grand Island Northwest High School, Dr. Hudnall graduated with honors in 2001 from Doane College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and was a two year Academic All-American in football and graduated with honors.

The Nebraska Optometric Association represents over 240 doctors of optometry throughout the state. Licensed optometrists provide more than two-thirds of all primary eye care in the United States, including diagnosis and treatment of eye disease and vision conditions. Association members in Nebraska are also leading providers of pediatric vision care and offer two statewide public service programs to serve children. Optometrists offer free vision evaluations for any infant through the InfantSEE program and free vision assessments for all three-year-olds through the See to Learn program. Information about both programs is available to consumers on the Nebraska Optometric Association website at http://nebraska.aoa.org.
